Okay... So here is a project I just got done with in Graphic Art class... what we did is we took pictures of ourselves, uploaded them. and then we opened them in photoshop and got to alter them however we wanted. we think took little picture squares of what we wanted and imported it to illustrator. Once in illustrator we used the polygon tool, and made a triangle. We used clipping mask and made the picture into a triangle. We copied the triangle, rotated one of them 180 degrees, and then we zoomed in "stupid silly" and got the two points to touch exactly, then we grouped them, copied them, and pasted twice. We then rotated one 60 degrees and one -60 degrees. Then we selected the three groups and used allignment tools to get them into a hexagon. After that we made more hexagons and made kalediscopes out of the hexagons. This is defenitely my favorite project.
I perfer the other one but this one is pretty cool as well.
The center hexagon is my nose/lips. Middle, eye, and outside eye/hair/side of face.
This one actually fits together better than the other one...

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
